School of Film & Animation program produces the next generation of visual artists working in the movie and animation industry.
School of Film & Animation presents a creative course on visual filmmaking keeping the curriculum close to the needs of the evolving entertainment industry. Both traditional and up-to-date technology and creative expressions in the current media industry are evolving at the same time. This presents a body of interrelated contents in both the art and commercial world. With the unification of the film & animation program, the school offers the best interdisciplinary curriculum for future creators in the field.

The class also provides extensive understanding of social and cultural backgrounds of the filmmaking process. This course is followed by ‘The History of The Cinematic Art (2)’. |
Trans Media Foundation | C | 3 | In this class, students study the features of image media which creates space and time on the screen directly by experiencing basic video making technique such as flip book, pixelation, and videotaping, etc. Through this, they learn basic and universal film language and film grammar. They realize how their thought can be film image by producing their idea with free theme and form, and search their own expression style. |
Basic Drawing(1) | SE | 3 | This subject sets a goal of learning traditional & trending drawing techniques by utilizing various drawing materials and cultivating the ability to recreate the subjects. Students discover the subject’s features, reinterpret them in their own perspectives and experience an original way of recreation by adding their own unique sensibilities. Also the students are encouraged to gain sensibility going through tactiles through their eyes and hands, which requires students to stay open-minded as a creator. |

The History of The Cinematic Art(2) | R | 3 | This class follows a prerequisite class, ‘The HIstory of The Cinematic Art (1)’. Both classes deal with the historical evolution of visual media. While the ‘Cinematic Art (1)’ deals with the development of cinema from the invention of movies up to the World War 2, ‘Cinematic Art (2)’ focuses on the history afterwards. |

Advanced 3D Animation Rigging | SE | 3 | This course progresses and introduces the basic technique of character set-up and rigging which are essential to 3D animation. Students become accustomed to skills such as the set-up method of whole frame of all characters, method of making blendshape for facial animation, and method of decide essential items to make 3D characters. They can learn the importance of rigging in the animation and practical technique. |
New Medias Seminar | CE | 3 | This class sets a goal of theoretical access to new media. To be exact, it can be ‘the history and the present of new media’. As discussing the common features and differences between former media and new media, this class is supposed to discuss the meaning of change which is brought by new media more obviously. |

Advanced Motion Graphic(2) | SE | 3 | This course introduces various tools and designs for a more natural motion graphics work. Students will learn expressions that could not be achieved in After Effect, and will also learn C4D Basics for extensive design expression. |
Film Producing | SE | 3 | In this class, students understand the basic film planning and plan the video by themselves. Through this process of practice, their goal is cultivating the ability which can be applied to the field instantly to solve all problem of film producing process. |

Film Today | CE | 3 | This subject is opened on grounds of expecting students whose major is film to have consciousness on their major.
