AIDM : Autonomous UAV

Seonwoo Pyo

5G Complex Sensor-Based Mountain-Based Autonomous Flying Drone

AIDM is a autonomous flight UAV based on 5G mobile network that will be commercialized in the near future. It is designed to manage mountainous areas where rescue activities are not possible due to its rugged terrain. It supports detection, prediction and situational response of local disasters through real-time processing and analysis of mounted multiple complex sensor data. In addition, the real-time SLAM-based 3D map is formed through LiDAR sensors to autonomously scout forests and to protect forests and predict risks through networking formation
between CCTVs in the mountains. In the era of UNTACT, which is accelerating due to COVID-19, we expect to enable more efficient policing, natural management and rescue activities with less manpower.
